In this new comedy by local playwright, Neil Haven, Sky’s best friend Erin has passed away and left Sky the unenviable task of finding the perfect resting place for her remains. With detailed instruction, Sky is to visit every cremation shop in the lower forty-eight states. Things get complicated when Erin’s estranged mother shows up and insists the ashes be laid to rest in the family plot, throwing the trip off course for Sky. The journey takes unexpected turns, becoming less a road map about the finality of life and instead a new path toward understanding and acceptance. A quirky comedy about grief, understanding and moving forward. Featuring Karen Estrada, T. Stacy Hicks, Tim Higgins, Carrie Hitchcock, Tiffany Vance and Sara Zientek. (Run time: approximately 1 hour, 55 minutes which includes one 15-minute intermission.)
Join us for Talk Backs on Thursday evenings following the show with the director and actors, and a special previously unscheduled Talk Back with playwright Neil Haven on Sunday, March 15 following the 2:00 pm performance!
